The Frenchman recently announced his intention to wind down his rally career, starting with a part-time role for Citroen in 2013 and possibly a switch to the FIA World Touring Car Championship in 2014, which could make his 2012 title run the last of his long and prestigious career in the WRC championship.

“On the one hand I thought about calming things down and stopping, but on the other hand I didn't want to feel like I was retired," he said. "So now we have a new challenge and a different style of driving, about which myself and Citroen still have a lot to learn, and that is very exciting.”
