Kyle Busch won the FORD 300, his 30th victory in 173 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his ninth victory and 30th top-10 finish in 2009. The nine wins are tied for third-most all time in single-season victories. This is Busch's 25th top-five finish, which tied Jeff Green in 2000 for most in a single season. This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in four races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Carl Edwards finished second which was his fourth top-10 finish in five races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It is his 30th top-10 finish in 2009.
Both Busch and Edwards posted 30 top-10 finishes in 2009, the first time two drivers scored 30 top 10s in the same season in series history.
Jeff Burton came in third and posted his fifth top-10 finish in seven races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Justin Allgaier won the 2009 Raybestos Rookie of the Year Award. He had three top fives and 12 tops 10s this season.
Kyle Busch leads the point standings by 210 points over Carl Edwards.
