Jamie McMurray held off Kyle Busch to win Saturday night’s Great Clips 300 Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

















The victory was the first of the season in the series for McMurray, who won the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 races this year on the Sprint Cup side.

McMurray, who led 48 laps and was making his seventh start in NNS, was driving for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports team.

Busch, who led a race-best 74 laps, finished second. He was .2 seconds behind at the finish line.

Carl Edwards was third while Kevin Harvick was fourth.

Matt Kenseth finished fifth.

Points leader Brad Keselowski was 12th.
