VIDEO: Last Lap Cup - Johnson Wins At Phoenix

Jimmie Johnson won the Checker O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 presented by Pennzoil, his 47th victory in 290 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his seventh victory and 23rd top-10 finish in 2009. This is his fourth victory and 11th top-10 finish in 13 races at Phoenix International Raceway.

Jeff Burton finished second which was his 12th top-10 finish in 21 races at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his ninth top-10 finish in 2009.

Denny Hamlin came in third and posted his sixth top-10 finish in nine races at Phoenix International Raceway.

Joey Logano finished in 21st and was the highest finishing rookie.

Jimmie Johnson leads the point standings by 108 points over Mark Martin. He needs to finish 25th or better at Homestead-Miami Speedway to clinch his fourth championship. Jimmie Johnson has now won 18 times in the Chase. He now has won four times in the Chase on three different occasions.
