NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Elliott Sadler said the Richard Petty Motorsports-Yates Racing merger is proceeding on schedule. Sadler attended the Sprint Sound and Speed Fan Festival Presented by Sun Trust in Nashville, TN on Saturday, January 9, 2010.



Fans of racing and country music bid on memorabilia from the racing and entertainment industries as part of a silent auction fundraiser and had the opportunity to get up-close and personal with drivers and top-name artists for autographs, story-telling, and question-and-answer sessions. Attendees viewed NASCAR showcars of yesterday and tomorrow and checked out sponsor displays.
