TRUCKS: Skinner Leads Lone Practice At Talladega

Randy Moss Motorsports' Mike Skinner led the lone practice session Friday in preparation for Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Skinner, who is currently third in the series standings, turned a lap of 191.398 mph and was followed by Mario Gosselin (DGM Racing) with a speed of 190.041 mph.

Rounding out the top five in the two-hour practice were Chad McCumbee (SS-Green Light Racing), Ryan Hackett (Ryan Hackett Racing) and Kyle Busch (Billy Ballew Motorsports).

Sixth through 10th were Jason White (GunBroker.com Racing), Colin Braun (Roush Fenway Racing), Aric Almirola (Billy Ballew Motorsports), Ron Hornaday (Kevin Harvick Inc.) and Matt Crafton (ThorSport Racing).

There was only one incident, which involved Brad Keselowski Racing’s J.R. Fitzpatrick, who spun his truck but did not sustain any major damage.

Qualifying is slated for Friday at 5:10 p.m. EDT and Saturday's race will be at 4 p.m. EDT and televised on SPEED.
