Mike Skinner’s 200th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start is shaping up to be a good one.

Skinner, who will make the milestone appearance in Saturday’s Kroger 200 Martinsville Speedway, captured his 50th career pole position in Friday’s qualifying session at the .526-mile track.

He enters Saturday’s race seeking his fourth win at the paperclip-shaped oval.

“Every time I come here I just love this place,” the Randy Moss Motorsports driver said.

Skinner used a lap of 95.733 mph to beat out Kevin Harvick Inc.’s Ron Hornaday (95.617) and KHI co-owner/driver Kevin Harvick (95.583).

Denny Hamlin, making a rare Truck start for Billy Ballew Motorsports, will roll off fourth. Xpress Motorsports’ Brian Scott rounded out the top five.

Wyler Racing’s Stacy Compton, Circle Bar Racing’s Rick Crawford, Germain Racing’s Todd Bodine, Thorsport Racing’s Johnny Sauter and Randy Moss Motorsports’ Tayler Malsam completed the top 10.

Failing to qualify were Tim Bainey Racing’s Tim Bainey Jr., Lafferty Motorsports’ Chris Lafferty and Corrie Stott Racing’s Dan Brode.

The race is scheduled to begin just after 1 p.m. EDT Saturday.
