Elliott Sadler waited until the final moment to bump Kasey Kahne off the pole for Saturday's inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway.

Sadler, making one of his select Truck starts this season for Kevin Harvick Inc., beat out his Sprint Cup Series teammate for his first ever Truck pole with a lap of 162.602 mph.

Sadler’s best previous start in the series was second in February at Daytona International Speedway

Kahne (161.917), a winner of the only two Truck races he's entered, was followed by former Sprint Cup Series Pocono winner Denny Hamlin (161.777), Austin Dillon and Aric Almirola in the top five.

Point leader Todd Bodine, Justin Lofton, defending series champion Ron Hornaday, Stacy Compton and Mike Skinner completed the top 10.

In a break from the traditional qualifying format, practice speeds set the order for qualifying as the trucks qualified in inverse order to their speeds from Friday's two practice sessions. The slowest trucks in practice went out first in qualifying as up to three trucks were allowed on the track at a time for their two qualifying laps.

Originally, qualifying was going to be based solely on Happy Hour speeds, but NASCAR revised its qualifying procedures to include both sessions.

SPEED will televise Saturday’s race live, beginning at 12:30 pm ET with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup.
