Veteran Ron Hornaday Jr. led the first of two Thursday practices for tomorrow’s Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Hornaday set the pace at 151.764 miles per hour in the No. 9 Anderson’s Maple Syrup Chevrolet Silverado.

He was followed by Ty Dillon in the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevy, at 151.681 mph, and Dillon’s teammate Joey Coulter, who ran 151.458 mph in the No. 22 Richard Childress Racing entry.

Completing the top five were Brian Scott in the No. 18 Shore Lodge Toyota and Kevin Harvick’s No. 2 Tide Chevy.

The second five was Justin Lofton, Timothy Peters, Todd Bodine, Max Gresham and Parker Kligerman.

SPEED will televise qualifying Friday at 10 a.m. ET from Dover. Race coverage starts at 4:30 p.m. ET with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup.
