After a four-week hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, and when it does, it will have some fresh faces behind the wheel.

Billy Ballew Motorsports has signed reigning NASCAR K&N West Series champion Jason Bowles to drive the No.15 BBM Toyota Tundra in Saturday’s Kroger 200 at the 0.526-mile Virginia short track.

“Really can't wait to get in the truck and go,” said Bowles, who has nine K&N West Series race victories in the last three seasons. “Billy gave me a chance to test last week with the team and Aric (Almirola), and it went well, so he decided to give me a shot to go racing at Martinsville."

“We have a great team here with the No. 15 operation,” said Ballew. “I do this to win races and championships, otherwise I wouldn't be here. Jason is someone I feel like I can put in this truck and watch him get up to speed right away and run at the front. With Aric trying to close the championship gap, it's going to help having a solid teammate out there.”

Bowles will be joined by Amber and Angela Cope, who will be the first pair of twins to compete together in the same race in one of NASCAR's top three series.

In a joint effort among Derrike Cope Racing, Stratus Racing Group, Daisy Ramirez Motorsports and Rick Ware Racing, Amber will drive the No. 01 Dodge Ram and Angela will drive the No. 6.

“The teams and the twins have been waiting patiently to get to this historical occasion,” said Derrike Cope, the 1990 Daytona 500 winner and uncle of the twins.

“This is what we have strived for since we started racing go-karts at age 9,” said Angela. “We successfully ran go-karts for years across the Northwest, then moved to North Carolina over five years ago with a dream to race stock cars or trucks. We will now get the opportunity to earn the respect of our competitors.”
