Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch won the pole Friday for Saturday’s Kroger 200 Camping World Truck Series race, an event that will make a bit of history at old Martinsville Speedway.

For the first time in a NASCAR major-series event, four women will be in the starting lineup. Johanna Long qualified 17th, and Jennifer Jo Cobb was 35th. Twin sisters Angela Cope (32nd) and Amber Cope (34th) also qualified.

Busch’s top lap was 96.205 miles per hour. He edged second-place Matt Crafton by .046 of a second.

Completing the top five were Ron Hornaday Jr., Kevin Harvick and Johnny Sauter.

Series point leader Todd Bodine qualified 24th.

The race is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.
