Johnny Sauter was quickest in the first practice for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series FORD 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He turned a fast lap of 32.094 with a top speed of 168.256 mph.

Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Timothy Peters and Matt Crafton completed the top five.
