Colin Braun and the No. 6 Con-way Freight team spent two days testing at Rockingham's one-mile oval in preparation for the upcoming intermediate tracks on the Camping World Truck Series schedule. Although the test was shortened by rain both days, Braun and the team took a lot of valuable information back to the shop with them.

The team tested two Ford F-150s, the workhorse chassis 43, and a new truck chassis 60. The team plans to take 43 to Kansas next weekend for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250. The new truck was tested for the first time, and the team plans to run it this summer at Texas and/orMichigan.

"We learned a lot at Rockingham even though the weather didn't cooperate with us both days," Braun said. "We had two main objectives and accomplished both of them. First we wanted to test the new truck against one we've had considerable success with over the
years. We found the new truck to be pretty equal in speed to 43, so we were pleased with that. We are still going to take 43 to Kansas next weekend since it is painted and ready to go, but the new truck will be great for a lot of the intermediate tracks this summer.

"We also spent a lot of time comparing our current baseline set-up to one the guys used a while back when they won all of those races with Mark Martin and Travis Kvapil. I think we made a lot of gains in that area too, and learned what really works and maybe some
things that don't work as well.

"It felt great to get back in the truck after so many weeks away from the track. I'm really looking forward to racing at Kansas next week. It was where I got my best finish in the truck series last year (third), so I'm excited to try to better that this year. We've had
a few tough races in a row and need to get our momentum back, and gain some points. Although we are 21st in points, we are only 97 points out of 10th place. With a good run at Kansas we can get right back up there. Historically that has been a great track for Roush Fenway truck drivers. Erik Darnell and Jon Wood both got their first wins there, so I hope to add my name to that list of first-time winners next weekend."
