Joey Coulter led the lone Happy Hour round of practice for Saturday night’s Smith’s 350 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Coulter, who drives the No. 22 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Silverado, paced the field at the 1.5-mile desert speedway. His best lap was 176.108 miles per hour.

Second fast at 175.627 mph was Timothy Peters in the No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota, followed by Grant Enfinger in Brad Keselowski’s No. 29 RAM, which ran 175.513 mph. Johnny Sauter was fourth in the first of the ThorSport Racing Toyotas, with David Mayhew fifth in the No. 18 Kyle Busch Motorsports entry.

The second five was led by Nelson Piquet Jr. Then came Las Vegas native Brendan Gaughan, Ty Dillon, James Buescher and Cale Gale.

Qualifying is scheduled for 11:35 p.m. ET tonight and will not be televised.

SPEED’s coverage from Las Vegas begins Saturday at 8 p.m. ET with The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Setup, followed by race coverage at 8:30 p.m.

Heading into the race, Dillon leads the points over Buescher, who trails by 4 points. Peters (-26) is third, followed by Parker Kligerman (-30).
