Join Steve Byrnes, Larry McReynolds, Jeff Hammond, Darrell Waltrip along with special guests Danica Patrick and Juan Pablo Montoya Trackside at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Steve Byrnes "Danica Patrick took the Indy world by storm, the first woman to win a race in that series. That sport's most popular driver four times and now she has brought her hard-charging style to NASCAR...!"

Steve Byrnes "And welcome the driver of the GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., to Trackside Live, Danica Patrick!"

Danica Patrick "Hi guys, how is it going?"

Darrell Waltrip "I don’t do that very often, this is the first time I have helped a driver into their seat. I am trying to be a gentleman tonight"

Danica Patrick "Thank you, I am flattered!"

Darrell Waltrip "They will tell you I never do that."

Darrell Waltrip "So, how is Las Vegas Motor Speedway for you today?"

Danica Patrick "Much better than Fontana last weekend! Much more comfortable out there. The car was pretty good. I think for me as a new driver, it’s got to start off a little tighter for me so that I can really charge the entry and bring it back from there. So we made a heck of a lot of changes this afternoon, but we finally got the car to a point where it turned and turned too much so we came back from that and a couple little other things and I think we’ll be good."

Darrell Waltrip "One thing we notice that at California last week, being a driver and these guys work with us all the time and in the past, you had your steering wheel pretty high up and pretty far away and all of us watching you on TV kept saying, they got to get the wheel down and get it back closer to you. Guys always ask me why we have the wheel so close and I always put it in this way, where can you hold the most weight, way out here, or right in here? These cars they wear you down."

Danica Patrick "I heard you say that. So I tried it."

Darrell Waltrip "How did it work out for you?"

Danica Patrick "Awful. I was very uncomfortable in the first run we brought it closer to me and lowered it. I got it too close and low we had to move it before I went out. Once I got in the car we moved it because as soon as we buckled up, the buckle was in the way."

Darrell Waltrip "So the buckle was hitting on the steering wheel?"

Danica Patrick "So I go out there and this is after moving it a little bit and I went out there and I just felt like I was on the roof of the car driving it so we had to move it back. I had to see the steering wheel to see it was in my eyesight but then it got down and I just felt like I was driving like this and I was very uncomfortable but I tried!"

Darrell Waltrip "That is only suggestion I have."

Danica Patrick "I tried and I think instead of moving it like an inch we’ll have to go like quarter or half."

Darrell Waltrip "Split the difference, there you go."
