The podium was Millsaps' seventh in eight attempts this season and he continues to lead the '13 title fight with a healthy cushion. "It's definitely a slick track. I spun all the way out of the gates. But it was definitely a good race."

Barcia's teammate, Trey Canard, rounded out the top five, while championship contender Ryan Dungey was an uncharacteristic sixth, halting his recent run of podiums.

Western Regional 250SX title contender Eli Tomac made an impressive premier class debut, racing to seventh, ahead of 450 vets Jake Weimer, Chad Reed, and Mike Alessi.

Millsaps now boasts a 22-point advantage over Villopoto with Dungey relegated to third, 26 points out of first as the series picks back up next weekend in St. Louis.
