SPEED will open its coverage of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series finale Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. ET with live coverage of the Chase for the Nextel Cup championship press conference from the famed Doral Golf Resort in Miami. The show will kick off nearly 30 hours of coverage from the Homestead-Miami area as titles are decided in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.

"Last year, we expanded our coverage from Homestead to give the weekend the major national championship coverage it is due," said Chris Long, SPEED VP of Production. "As we continue to push ourselves to give NASCAR fans the most comprehensive coverage anywhere, we will deliver the top talent and the most relevant stories of the race weekend."

The Chase is On, with Steve Byrnes and NASCAR driver Carl Edwards will report beachside Nov. 16 at 9 p.m. ET, to introduce the weekend's top stories.
