SPEED will open its week of expanded coverage from the NASCAR Hall of Fame with the premiere of a new nightly show, NASCAR Race Hub, on Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET. NASCAR icon and Hall of Fame nominee Richard Petty will be the featured guest.

“We know more about our NASCAR on SPEED audience than ever before,” said SPEED President Hunter Nickell. “Avid NASCAR fans watch SPEED, and ‘the Hub’ will be built with this in mind. With year-to-year ratings up for SPEED’s coverage of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR RaceDay and several other NASCAR on SPEED programs, as well as the historic announcement of the inaugural class for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, this is the perfect time to launch a nightly show.”

NASCAR Race Hub will be a 30-minute show scheduled to air Mondays through Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. ET in the casual, fan-friendly format that has become the signature of NASCAR on SPEED. The show title was selected with input from the NASCAR Fan Council.

“The NASCAR Race Hub will be something different,” said Steve Craddock, SPEED SVP of Programming. “It will be more than a show. It will be a destination …a place for fans to gather. At SPEED, we live and work in the ‘hub’ of NASCAR every single day, and we’re going to bring that experience to the fans.”

In addition to the new nightly show, SPEED will offer a full day of coverage from Voting Day at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, where the inaugural class will be announced at 4 p.m. on Oct. 14. SPEED coverage, which begins at 10 a.m. ET, will include:
