***SPEED NOTES***

NASCAR RACE HUB: The Hub (7 p.m. ET Monday-Thursday) catches up Wednesday with Juan Pablo Montoya, who left Indianapolis heartbroken for the second consecutive year after appearing to have the car to beat.

On his season:

“It’s been hard,” Montoya said in the exclusive sit-down interview. “I made a lot of mistakes…and it cost us. It’s been frustrating because I think both cars were easily capable of making the Chase and both cars are out.”

Also appearing on Wednesday’s edition of Hub is Marcos Ambrose, who will discuss his departure from JTG Daugherty racing at the end of the season. Reporter Danielle Trotta will visit Richard Childress Racing to chat with Clint Bowyer and Ray Dunlap will stop by Billy Ballew Motorsports to discuss preparations for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ first visit to Pocono this weekend.

INAUGURAL TRUCK RACE: The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pays its first ever visit to Pocono Raceway this weekend, with SPEED coverage of the race beginning Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET with Krista Voda hosting the popular pre-race show, NCWTS Setup. Darrell Waltrip will join Rick Allen and Phil Parsons in the booth to call the race, with Ray Dunlap and Adam Alexander reporting from pit road. Additionally, SPEED’s live coverage of Saturday’s qualifying at 10 a.m. ET features a new twist with a multi-truck qualifying format.

Race No. 13 on the Truck Series schedule marks the fourth of nine consecutive races for the Trucks, with defending champion Ron Hornaday looking to follow up last weekend’s win at O’Reilly Raceway Park. The ORP win marked Hornaday’s first win since Nashville Superspeedway last August, the final victory in his record-setting five-win stretch, and the longest Hornaday ever had gone into a season without a win.
