SPEED OFFERS 25 HOURS OF WEEKEND COVERAGE FROM TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

NASCAR RACE HUB: The Hub (7 p.m. ET Monday-Thursday) on Wednesday features analysis from Larry McReynolds regarding the top three championship contenders heading into this weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway, as well as tech talk on possible engine trouble at the fast one-and-a-half-mile track. Danielle Trotta lends some historical perspective to the Chase scenario with three races remaining and Penske Racing young gun Parker Kligerman stops by the Hub.

On Thursday’s show, Ken Schrader swings by the studio, Hermie Sadler reports the latest from Texas and Steve Byrnes sits down with Coach Joe Gibbs for an extended interview.

On regrets in his career:
“I took JD and Coy out, my two boys, and I told ‘em … don’t do what I did with your kids,” Gibbs said. “That’s the one thing I second guess … I could have spent more time with them. I’m sad. I don’t even like looking at pictures …’ cause I know how much I was gone.”

On his motivations in life:
“I was fortunate enough to win some Super Bowls and some NASCAR championships and you’d say those are the most important things. In reality, when I look back… I’ve realized the most important thing is the influence I’m having on others. That’s what I’m going to leave on earth.”

Additionally, Thursday’s Hub features a Trotta interview with Rick Hendrick.
