Tennessee native Trevor Bayne enjoyed a nice return to his home state on Friday morning, pacing the day's only scheduled Nationwide Series practice at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Bayne, who hails from Knoxville, toured the Bristol oval at 120.687 mph in his Roush Fenway Racing Ford to lead the way over Kasey Kahne (120.331), Sam Hornish Jr. (120.241), Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick.

Logano and Harvick ran identical speeds of 119.955.

Qualifying for tonight's Food City 250 is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. ET.
