NASCAR Sprint Cup regular David Reutimann headlines a trio of drivers who will rotate behind the wheel of the new, part-time No. 64 Rusty Wallace Racing Toyota.

The new NASCAR Nationwide Series car will make its debut this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway, with Reutimann in the cockpit. Other drivers slated to run the car include veteran David Stremme and 2011 Toyota All-Star Showdown winner Jason Bowles.

The team currently fields full-time entries for Michael Annett and Steve Wallace, who are 12th and 13th, respectively, in the NNS driver points standings.

RWR said in a release that the No. 64 will run only a partial schedule for the rest of the year, but did not specify how many races Reutimann and Stremme would drive. Bowles has been tabbed for the three NNS road races at Road America, Montreal and Watkins Glen.

Reutimann’s sponsor for Saturday’s Nashville race will be announced later, the team said.

Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental, a network of about 300 dental practices across 22 states, will sponsor the car at Michigan, Kentucky, Watkins Glen and Bristol.

RWR general manager Larry Carter will serve as crew chief on the No. 64.

“We're very excited about this new addition to our racing program,” said team owner Rusty Wallace in a statement released Monday. “Not only are we able to continue our partnership with Aspen Dental — a solid and growing network of dental practices — but we're also able to evaluate our race cars even further.

“It's no secret that we haven't run as well as we would have hoped in 2011 and having a veteran like David Reutimann giving additional feedback should help speed up our COT learning curve. At the same time, David Stremme did a great job for us in 2008 and I really feel like Jason Bowles has the potential to be fast at the Nationwide level.”
