A native of Middletown, Conn., Joey Logano is relatively close to home when NASCAR comes to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver looked right at home in Saturday’s round of Nationwide Series qualifying at the 1.058-mile track.

Boosted by a fast lap of 128.902 mph, Logano will lead the field to the green flag for Saturday afternoon’s Camping World RV Sales 200. Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards qualified second at 128.507 mph, followed by Richard Childress Racing’s Clint Bowyer at 128.558.

Red Bull Racing’s Scott Speed and Kevin Harvick Inc.’s Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five, as Roush Fenway’s Greg Biffle, JR Motorsports’ Brad Keselowski, Braun Racing’s Brian Vickers, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch and Phoenix Racing’s Mike Bliss completed
the top 10.

Four drivers – Rick Ware Racing’s Justin Hobgood, Faith Motorsports’ Morgan Shepherd, Davis Motorsports’ Kertus Davis and Davis Motorsports’ Mike Wallace – failed to qualify and will miss the race.

The green flag is scheduled to wave just after 3 p.m. EDT Saturday.
