Joey Logano’s Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 NASCAR Nationwide Series Toyota Camry will again carry sponsorship from GameStop Corp. this season.

GameStop, the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer, will be Logano’s primary sponsor in 21 Nationwide Series races this year, starting with the season opener Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.

“When we decided to enter NASCAR three years ago, we knew we had to find the right driver/team combination,” said GameStop Chief Operating Officer Paul Raines in a statement released Monday. “Joey has proven to be the perfect fit for GameStop with his passion for gaming and his fierce competitive spirit behind the wheel. Riding on the success Joey and the No. 20 team had in 2009, we look forward to seeing Joey in victory lane multiple times this year.”

Logano, who is just 19 years old, grabbed four pole positions and won five Nationwide Series races last season in the No. 20 GameStop Toyota.

“GameStop is a phenomenal partner, and we need to continue to deliver the results they deserve as the leader in their industry,” said J.D. Gibbs, president of JGR. “Over the past couple years it has became obvious that Joey Logano and GameStop make up perhaps the best driver-sponsor combination in the Nationwide Series. We’re looking forward to a great season.”

“Having GameStop sponsor me in the Nationwide Series is really cool,” Logano said. “When I have any free time, I’m usually playing video games with my friends, so being able to drive the No. 20 GameStop Toyota brings together two things I love to do. I’m glad to be driving for GameStop again this year.”
