Joey Logano paced Thursday's first practice at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a top speed of 181.032 mph as the Nationwide Series teams continued a two day practice effort.

Clint Bowyer was second quickest in the session, followed by Paul Menard

Parker Kilgerman and Kyle Busch completed the top five.

Series point leader Brad Keselowski was seventh quickest.
