Baker Curb Racing will field a car for Scott Lagasse Jr. for the 2010 Nationwide Series season, the team has announced.

DrGmall.com will sponsor the car at Daytona and the plan is for the team to run the entire season, pending sponsorship. Jeff White, an engineer with the team, will be the crew chief for Lagasse.

Lagasse has made 54 NASCAR national touring series starts with four top-10s and a best finish of eighth in the Nationwide Series race last year at Talladega. He also has two wins in the ARCA Series.

“Last season he proved that he can run in the top 10 in the Nationwide Series on a regular basis and we feel that he is on the verge of competing for wins,” said Baker Curb Racing President Matt Crews.

The organization previously announced a partial schedule for Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle.
