Kyle Busch, who apparently is trying to win everything in the Nationwide Series this season other than the championship, drove into record-setting territory Saturday by winning the Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway.

Busch led all but nine laps of the 200-lapper in winning for the 11th time this year, breaking a record he shared with Sam Ard.

Although Busch was dominant all afternoon, the win was not without some stress. Holding a comfortable lead over second-place Joey Logano, his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, with 15 laps to go, Busch radioed his crew that he felt a bad vibration.

Logano closed on Busch over the final five laps but couldn’t attempt a pass. Following in the top five were Carl Edwards, Reed Sorenson and Kevin Harvick.

“At the end, I don’t know what happened,” Busch said. “It started vibrating and shaking real bad. That was worrying me real bad.”

Busch is not running for the series championship – Brad Keselowski has a comfortable point lead – and has raced in only 23 of the 28 races to date. With 11 wins, he is almost hitting .500.

The race was red-flagged with 65 laps to go after a vicious turn-four crash that parked Elliott Sadler and Drew Herring.

Sadler’s car got loose and backed into the outside wall. As he slid down the banking, Herring entered the turn and crashed hard into the left front of Sadler’s car, sending Sadler into a spin and spraying debris across the track.

Busch held the lead on the restart following the red flag and wasn’t challenged the rest of the way.
