Kyle Busch hates losing a race and finishing second.

He hates it even worse when he believes he loses unfairly.

Busch was livid after Saturday’s Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway because he believes Carl Edwards jumped the restart on the green-white-checkered finish.

Busch led most of the race, but lost the lead late to Edwards. He attempted to pass Edwards for the lead on a late restart, but Edwards held him off to win the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge.

Then, with just two laps remaining, Edwards got the jump on Busch on the final restart, pulling away to win easily on the 1.5-mile track.

Busch vented his anger on radio after the race and then walked into the infield media center, where he took just three brief questions before getting up and walking out.

Asked what happened on the final restart, Busch said, “Carl Edwards jumped the restart by about three lengths before the double red marks.”

Asked if he had talked to NASCAR officials about it, Busch said, “Does it f------ matter? The race is over. The guys’ in victory lane. It doesn’t matter.”

Busch then walked out of the media center without taking any more questions.

Edwards said he was "just trying to do what I had to do.”

"I don't expect him to be happy. I just did what I had to do to win the race," Edwards said. "It just really doesn't matter what he says."

Edwards then added, "I will say that he raced me very clean, we had a really good race, especially the restart before. I was on the outside, he was on the inside and he lifted the last minute before he hit me in Turn 3. We raced really well together … but I'm sure he's frustrated and there's nothing I can do about that."
