After a rainy morning at Watkins Glen International, NASCAR Nationwide Series cars still managed to get on track around 2 p.m. ET in time for the series' lone scheduled practice of the day.

After some initial precipitation during which drivers lapped the 2.45-mile road course on rain tires, drivers were able to get in some meaningful practice time in preparation for Saturday's Zippo 200.

Leading the charge was the No. 22 Penske Racing Dodge of Brad Keselowski at 118.250 mph. Kyle Busch (118.237) and Ryan Truex (117.381) followed as Justin Allgaier and Brian Scott completed the top five.

Qualifying and the race are both on tap for Saturday.
