Joey Logano paced the first of two extended Nationwide Series practices scheduled for Wednesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway where teams are shaking down the new NNS car.

Kevin Harvick, Paul Menard, Kyle Busch and the No. 7 car, which was shared in the session by Danica Patrick and Mark Martin, completed the top five.

A second practice, this one lasting four hours, is scheduled to get under way at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday.
