The first practice session at Road America was dominated by road course experts.

The fastest practice time on the 4 mile Road America course for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Road America 200 was posted by Jacques Villeneuve who lapped the 14 turns at 109.107 mph with a time of 133.564.

The balance of the top five included Nelson Piquet Jr., Max Papis, Michael McDowell and Ron Fellows.

Series leader Elliott Sadler was 16th fastest with a top speed of 105.792 mph.

Danica Patrick was 12th overall.

The final practice session will be at 4 pm ET today with qualifying at 10:15 am ET on Saturday.
