NNS: Danica Patrick, Martin Truex Jr. Among 44 Entries For California

There are 44 entries for the Campingworld.com 300 Nationwide Series race Saturday at Auto Club Speedway in California.
Among the entries is Danica Patrick, who will be making her eighth career Nationwide start, the first at a track where she has competed earlier this year.
Patrick struggled in her last trip to Auto Club Speedway as she drove the entire race but wound up three laps down in 31st in her second career start.
In addition to Patrick, the other driver in the JR Motorsports stable will be Aric Almirola.
There are 12 Sprint Cup regulars in the field, including series points leader Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) and second-place Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing). Other Cup drivers entered include Ryan Newman (Phoenix Racing), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Joey Logano (JGR), Reed Sorenson (Braun), Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.), Michael McDowell (MacDonald Motorsports), Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports), David Gilliland (D’Hondt Humphrey Motorsports), Paul Menard (Roush Fenway) and Martin Truex Jr. (Diamond-Waltrip Racing).
Other drivers entered in cars that have used multiple drivers this year include Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Roush Fenway), Brian Scott (RAB Racing), Ricky Carmichael (Braun Racing), James Buescher (Braun Racing), Colin Braun (Roush Fenway), Morgan Shepherd (Shepherd Racing Ventures), Robert Richardson Jr. (R3 Motorsports) and Mark Green (ML Motorsports).
Trevor Bayne, who started the year at Diamond-Waltrip Racing, will be in the No. 17 Roush Fenway car for the second consecutive week. Former series champion Jeff Green is entered in a second TriStar Motorsports car.
