Cole Whitt was fastest in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Happy Hour practice session for the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. (Photo: Getty Images)
Cole Whitt paced the field with a laptime of 29.82 and a top speed of 181.080 MPH in the final practice session for the NASCAR Nationwide Series History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The top five fastest were Kurt Busch, Austin Dillon, Joey Coulter, and Joey Logano. Series points leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was 10th fastest.

Danica Patrick was 7th with a fast lap at 179.468 MPH.

Qualifying will take place at 11:05 AM (ET) on Saturday. The race is scheduled for Saturday at 2:45 PM (ET).
