NASCAR officials confirmed that inspectors confiscated front bumper covers from six NASCAR Nationwide Series cars during inspection Thursday at Richmond International Raceway.

The cars involved all came from two teams: Turner Motorsports (No. 30, James Buescher; No. 31, Justin Allgaier; No. 38, Kasey Kahne) and Richard Childress Racing (No. 2, Elliott Sadler; No. 3, Austin Dillon; and No. 33 Kevin Harvick).

The teams were allowed to replace the front bumper covers and will compete in Friday night’s Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at RIR.

If there are any penalties, they will be announced next week.
