NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Scott will join RAB Racing this weekend as driver of the No. 09 Shore Lodge Ford Fusion in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.

Scott, who has competed in all 28 NNS events in 2010, will be teaming up with RAB Racing this weekend as he contends for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors.

"I'm excited to be going to Kansas this weekend with RAB Racing," Scott said. "I'm looking forward to working with Scott Zipadelli and the entire RAB Racing crew. Robby Benton and everyone at RAB have worked hard to get the car ready for this weekend and I'm happy to be associated with such a dedicated group of individuals."

Scott, the 22-year-old from Idaho, has accumulated one top-five and five top-10 finishes in 2010. This weekend at Kansas will be his second start at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in the Nationwide Series. Scott currently leads the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings by one point.

"I'm proud to be in a position to help Brian finish out the year and contend for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors," said RAB Racing co-owner Robby Benton. "Our goal is to put him in the best possible situation to showcase his talents. I think the pairing of Brian with Scott Zipadelli and the rest of the RAB Racing team will be a favorable combination."

Scott's No. 09 car will hit the track beginning with Friday's practice sessions leading into the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday.
