Colin Braun in a Roush Fenway Ford led Friday evening's second practice for Saturday's Meijer 300 NASCAR Nationwide race at Kentucky Speedway. Braun's top lap came at 175.154 mph.

Second fastest was Justin Allgaier in a Penske Racing Dodge. He had a speed of 174.921 mph.

Speeds in the second practice went up markedly from the afternoon practice when the top speed was 173.166 mph. The second session Friday was held closer to Saturday's race start time of 8 p.m. Eastern.

Third fastest was Reed Sorenson while Steve Wallace was fourth and Coleman Pressley was fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 were points-leader Brad Keselowski, Brad Coleman, Joey Logano, Trevor Bayne and Scott Lagasse Jr., who were sixth through 10th respectively.
