There was a marked improvement in lap times for the two riders on this second day of the tests, due to their hard work in searching for the best set-up.

After a careful analysis of the data collected in the morning the riders were ready to get back on track when a heavy downpour affected the completion of the work. Tomorrow will be the final day and the team aims to use it completely.

Andrea Iannone

"It may seem strange but I'm happy, our goal now is to improve day by day, even though we have only completed a few laps, we have improved our pace over yesterday by about 1.5 seconds. We are approaching the two top drivers of the Ducati Team and this is our first aim. At the moment everything is working well, we have to be patient and smart and work for the future and not for immediate results. I wish to thank the team and the mechanics for all the support they are giving me."

Ben Spies

"Today I was able to ride a little bit trying to do it in the best way possible without exaggeration and without forcing the shoulder, and I am happy to have found a better feeling. This afternoon I was ready to complete some more laps but unfortunately it started to rain. I hope to be able to continue my research tomorrow."
