MILLER: If I Win The Lottery…
I’m overdue for some luck so here’s how I'd spend my lottery winnings...

o Buy a ride for Parnelli at the Chili Bowl.

o Lease a suite at IMS for May, admission is free for anybody that ever raced in USAC and have Jigger Sirois be the host.

o Start a monthly magazine with a staff that includes Bones Boucier, Marshall Pruett, John Oreovicz, Monte Dutton, David Malsher, Pete Lyons, Gordon Kirby, Kevin Eckert, David Phillips, Nigel Roebuck, Jeff Olson, Dave Argabright and Brock Yates.

o Lease the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ mile, put real clay back on the track and reinstate the Hoosier Hundred as a major player.

o Give Dick Jordan of USAC a well-deserved raise.

o If Larson insists on stock cars, I’ll lease him to Richard Childress.

o Purchase all the great racing photos of Bob Tronolone from the ‘60s and ‘70s and put them into a book.

o Pay Bronte Tagliani big bucks to go to my 50th high school class reunion as my girlfriend.

o Rent a midget and hot lap Kokomo Speedway one more time.

o Buy Jim Bob Luebbert’s store across from main gate at IMS and turn it into a strip club.

o Open a USAC Hall of Fame museum and make Andy Granatelli the first inductee but limit his acceptance speech to one hour.

o Make one-hour documentaries on Gurney, Granatelli, Parnelli, the Unsers, Rutherford and Rick Mears with Dave Despain reporting.

o Buy all the seats for the Brickyard 400 in the North and South Vistas, give the tickets to kids and help reduce that glare on race day.

o Sell my strip joint back to Hulman & Company for what I imagine would be a nice profit.
