Two fans suffered non-life-threatening injuries Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway when a brake pad crashed through the glass on the eighth floor of the Speedway Club.

The incident took place during the running of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ AAA Texas 500 at the 1.5-mile track.

According to track spokesman Mike Zizzo, information on the injured parties could not be released due to federal privacy laws.

It wasn’t known whose car the brake pad came from, or exactly when the incident took place.

According to the TMS web site, the Speedway Club, which is located above Turn 1, is a $30 million structure offering dining, banquet and meeting space as well as a health club and spa.
