The race restarted on Lap 127, with Burton briefly taking the lead, but then touching Juan Pablo Montoya and cutting a tire three laps later, which appeared to cost him a shot at victory.

As the race dwindled down to the closing laps, Stewart led a four-car breakaway ahead of Kyle Busch, Hamlin and Johnson.

With 15 laps to go, the seventh caution of the night came out, with Burton getting the Lucky Dog. The top 4 cars all held their respective positions on pit road, with Kenseth completing the top five.

The green flew on Lap 150, but Scott Speed and AJ Allmendinger made contact on the frontstretch on Lap 153, bringing out another caution.

The final restart began on Lap 157, with Stewart leading Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Johnson and Kenseth. Hamlin fell to third on the restart and Busch moved up to challenge Stewart.

Busch took the lead just before the white flag, the first time all night that he led. But Busch and Stewart crashed going to the flag, creating a huge pileup.

Stewart got the win, with Johnson second, followed by Hamlin, Edwards and Kurt Busch.
