CUP: Talladega Entry List

There are 46 entries for the Amp Energy Juice 500this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.
With 35 drivers locked in by owner points and Bobby Labonte the most recent past champion in a non-guaranteed car, there will be 10 drivers vying for the final seven spots. Bill Elliott is entered in the Latitude 43 Motorsports entry and would have access to a past champion’s provisional if Labonte is able to qualify on speed.
In addition to Elliott, the drivers who must qualify their way in are Travis Kvapil (Front Row Motorsports), Casey Mears (Germain Racing), Dave Blaney (Tommy Baldwin Racing) Michael McDowell (Whitney Motorsports), Michael Waltrip (Prism Motorsports), Landon Cassil (Gunselman Motorsports), Johnny Sauter (Prism), Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports) and Jeff Fuller (Nemco).
Among entries in full-time cars that have had multiple drivers this year, Aric Almirola is in the No. 9 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford, Chad McCumbee is driving the No. 71 for TRG Motorsports, Kevin Conway is in the No. 7 for Robby Gordon Motorsports and Robert Richardson Jr. is in the Front Row Motorsports No. 34.
