With one of the season’s most anticipated events – the Irwin Tools Night Race – a few minutes from starting, Brad Keselowski elevated the tension to a new level in Bristol Motor Speedway pre-race ceremonies Saturday night.

Drivers introduce themselves in front of the BMS crowd. When his turn arrived, Keselowski grabbed the microphone and said, “I’m Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Busch is an ass!”

Yes, he said that.

The crowd responded with cheers.

Keselowski and Busch were in a major altercation in Friday night’s Nationwide race at BMS. They swapped bumpers while fighting for the lead, a battle Busch won as he sent Keselowski spinning.

There is the anticipation that the feud might continue in Saturday night’s Sprint Cup race. Keselowski boosted that thought with his pre-race antics.

Busch, who was introduced before Keselowski, walked the entrance ramp to loud boos and said, “You all are so loving.”

Green flag? Soon.
