The following article is a compilation of all the NASCAR Numbers from #00 to #99 and how many Cup races were won...and by what drivers... utilizing that numeral.83 different numbers have won at least one Cup race. 27 numbers have never won a Cup race. They are listed here. I crunched the numbers so you don't have to. Enjoy!

42: (68 Wins) Lee Petty had 53 wins and 3 Cup Championships in the #42. Kyle Petty had 6 wins. Richard Petty had 2. Other winners: Jim Paschal, Marvin Panch, Joe Nemechek, Juan Pablo Montoya.

CUP: NASCAR Wins by Car Number, Part One

43: (198 Wins) The #43 has the most wins of any car number. Richard Petty has 192 of his 200 wins and 7 Cup Championships in the #43. Lee Petty has 1 win. Other winners include: Jim Paschal, Bobby Hamilton and John Andretti.

44: (13 Wins) Terry Labonte had 6 wins and 1 Cup Championship in the #44, most in the Piedmont Chevrolet. Other winners: Curtis Turner, Lloyd Dane, Rex White, Bob Welborn, Jim Paschal.

45: (6 Wins) Eddie Pagan had 4 wins. LeeRoy Yarbrough 2.

46: (11 Wins) Speedy Thompson had 8 wins. Bob Welborn and Jack Smith also had victories in the #46.

47: (24 Wins) Jack Smith had 18 wins in the #47. Fonty Flock, Buck Baker, A.J.Foyt, Dick Hutcherson, Ron Bouchard and Morgan Shepherd also trophied the #47.

48: (43 Wins) Jimmie Johnson has won 3 straight Cup Championships and 40 checkered flags in the Lowe’s Chevrolet. Other victors in the #48: Bill Norton and James Hylton.

49: (7 Wins) 3 Time NASCAR Convertible Champion Bob Welborn had 5 Cup wins in the #49. Jim Paschal and Bobby Allison also won in this number.

51: (2 Wins) Gober Sosebee had two wins in the #51…one in the famous “Cherokee Garage” entry.

52: (2 Wins) Neil Cole and Canadian Earl Ross crossed the finish line first in the #52.

53: (1 Win) Bob Burdick’s Pontiac nailed the #53’s only win at Atlanta in 1961.

54: (3 Wins) Jimmy Pardue had a pair of wins in the “Car 54 Where are You?” ride. Lennie Pond also won in #54.
