Brad Keselowski, who won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup race and the first for car owner James Finch at Talladega Superspeedway in April, heads a list of 44 cars entered in the Amp Energy 500.

Keselowski will be back behind the wheel of Finch’s Phoenix Racing No. 09 Chevrolet Impala SS, the same car he drove to a shocking victory at the 2.66-mile speedway last time at this track..

The Amp Energy 500 will be the seventh of 10 races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, and what many view as the last obstacle to a fourth consecutive Sprint Cup title for points leader Jimmie Johnson, who leads his Hendrick Motorsports teammates Mark Martin by 118 points and Jeff Gordon by 150.

All three of the points leaders finished 30th or worse in the April Talladega race.

For the second race in a row, just 44 cars are entered in this week’s race.
