You can add another title to Jimmie Johnson’s already lengthy and impressive resume: expectant father.

Johnson, the four-time defending NASCAR Sprint Cup champion and wife Chandra are expecting their first child in July. No other details have been confirmed at this point.

The two were introduced by Johnson’s Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Jeff Gordon, in 2002, when Chandra Johnson was working as model with the Wilhelmina agency in New York City. They were married Dec. 11, 2004, in St. Barts.

Chandra, 32, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, while the 34-year-old four-time Cup champ is a native of El Cajon, Calif. The couple now resides in Charlotte, N.C.

Jimmie Johnson won his fourth consecutive Sprint Cup championship last November, becoming the first NASCAR driver to fin four titles in a row in series history. He and Gordon are the only four-time Cup champions, trailing only Richard Petty and the late Dale Earnhardt, who each won seven Cup titles.
