CUP: Homestead-Miami Entry List

There are 45 entries for the Ford 400 season-ending Sprint Cup race this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
There will be nine drivers competing for the final seven qualifying spots in the 43-car field. The top 35 teams in the owner standings are locked in, as is Phoenix Racing’s Bobby Labonte, who has access to a past champion’s provisional. Wood Brothers Racing’s Bill Elliott would have access to a provisional if Labonte doesn’t use his.
In addition to Elliott, the other drivers who are not guaranteed spots in the race are Casey Mears (Germain Racing), Patrick Carpentier (Latitude 43 Motorsports), J.J. Yeley (Tommy Baldwin Racing), Dave Blaney (Front Row Motorsports), Michael McDowell (Whitney Motorsports), Landon Cassill (Gunselman Motorsports), Mike Bliss (Prism) and Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports).
Among entries in guaranteed starting cars are Aric Almirola in the Richard Petty Motorsports No. 9 and Andy Lally in the TRG Motorsports No. 71 entries.
