CUP: Frye Heading To Red Bull Headquarters
Red Bull’s Jay Frye will have a clearer picture of his team’s plans after a trip to corporate headquarters in Austria next week.

Asked about Vickers’ contract, Frye said that much like a deal with a manufacturer, work is ongoing. “It’s just not done yet,” Frye said.

On option on the table for 2010 is adding a major associate for one or both of the team’s two Toyotas.

All of the above will be discussed next week in Austria, during a trip that should play a key roll in shaping Red Bull’s future.

“We don’t have any trouble communicating,” Frye said of his relationship with Red Bull’s management. “But there are cultural differences. It’s a lot easier to sit down face to face,” with the Red Bull management to get deals finalized, he said.
