Mark Martin will lead a field of 44 cars to Dover International Speedway for the AAA 400, the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Martin, who won Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, is ahead of Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson by 35 points each going into one of his favorite tracks.

Johnson dominated at Dover in May, leading 298 of 400 laps to win over Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle. Martin finished 10th in that race. Stewart’s runner-up finish at Dover gave him a points lead he held for the next 13 races.

With 44 cars entered for Sunday’s race, only one car will fail to qualify of the nine battling for the final eight spots in the field. The top 35 in car owner points are guaranteed to race on Sunday, regardless of where they qualify.
