Denny Hamlin has this practice thing nailed.
Hamlin completed a sweep of the three weekend Sprint Cup practice sessions at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Saturday morning, leading the third session with a speed of 132.053 miles per hour.
Hamlin was the only driver over the 132 mark in the 50-minute practice, the final on-track activity for Cup drivers prior to Sunday’s Sylvania 300.
Following in the top five were Joey Logano, Brian Vickers, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. In the second five were Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson.
Chase drivers filled seven of the top 10 positions.
The slowest Chase driver in the practice was Kasey Kahne, who was 19th.
