With the facilities and road course designed by Hermann Tilke’s famed Formula 1 team, Tilke Architects & Engineers, this motorsports country club is on pace to be the first green, sustainable motorsports facility of its kind. The world-class driving facility will feature a 2-mile road course with over 100 feet of elevation changes, and the fastest straight-a-way top speed in the SE, including two distinctive corners designed to pay homage to the breathtaking ‘Eau Rouge’ from Spa-Francochamps and the iconic ‘Carousel’ at Nürburgring, two of the most famous and exciting corners in all of motorsports.

Atlanta Motorsports Park is a private country club, similar to that of a golf country club, but in the place of a golf course is a high-speed driving course enabling owners of sports cars to drive their vehicles fast, safe, and legally in a closed road course environment.

Since the plans for AMP were announced and the final design was revealed in 2009 AMP has sold over $1MM in pre-construction memberships, $700K in commercial sponsorships, in addition to 95% of the planned garages for Phase I have been pre-leased. “We have spared no expense in the comprehensive design of Atlanta Motorsports Park,” said Jeremy Porter, founder of AMP. “Not only do we have a world-class Tilke designed driving course but AMP will offer its members an experience for the entire family with country club amenities such as a private clubhouse, member lounge, pool, tennis court, hiking trails, horseback riding, locker room, fitness center and premier restaurant. With the groundbreaking behind us we are full speed ahead to opening day.”

New members and existing Founding Members are invited to tour the construction site approximately every 30 days to share in the progress. Mr. Porter states, “Not many people will be able to say they stood on this land before it was a driving course, we’re talking about a very select group of people.” Mr. Porter has indicated the membership packages will increase in price, and decrease in options, every few months as the official grand opening draws closer.

In addition to the featured 2-mile road course, AMP will be comprised of an 8/10ths mile karting track also designed by Tilke Architects. Other amenities include Skip Barber Racing School, private on-site garage rentals, a swimming pool and tennis courts. AMP members will also be able to enjoy reciprocal driving privileges at Calabogie Motorsports (Ontario), Circuit ICAR (Quebec), Miller Motorsports Park (Utah), New Jersey Motorsports Park (New Jersey), Palm Beach International Raceway (Florida), and Virginia International Raceway (Virginia).
